The International Food Standard, IFS Food for short, was developed in 2003 by the German Retail Federation for the private labels of German retail companies. It ensures the seamless quality of food along the production chain.

Kiwa BCS eco-guarantee
Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH has over 25 years of experience in the certification of organic products. In 1992, BCS became the first German certification body to be registered in accordance with the European Union’s organic regulation. Kiwa BCS has established itself very well on the European market and is also very present and recognized internationally in all important markets for organic products such as the EU, the USA and Japan.

Bioland
Bioland is the leading organic farming association in Germany. The farming methods of Bioland farms are based on a circular economy – without synthetic pesticides and easily soluble nitrogen fertilizers. The animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner and the food is processed gently. This enables environmentally friendly and sustainable food production.

Naturland
Naturland promotes organic farming worldwide and is one of the largest organic farming associations with over 38,000 farmers. As a future-oriented association, Naturland believes that organic competence and social responsibility belong together. Naturland farmers and processors work to the highest ecological standards, which are stricter than those of the organic label. They produce high-quality food without genetic engineering – to protect the environment and consumers.
